Tech & Coding Programme Delivery

I delivered 7 ‘Decode My Future’ programmes funded by the Mayor of London’s Stronger Futures Initiative. This programme aimed to bridge the digital skills gap for young Londoners aged 8–18. It provided a creative and supportive environment where participants could explore emerging technologies and develop foundational digital competencies for future career paths.

My Contribution to the Programme:

Pre-Programme Delivery

  • Designed a tech-first learning framework featuring interactive workshops in areas such as immersive design tools, introductory game mechanics, digital animation, and multi-dimensional modelling to spark early interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering) disciplines.
  • Led outreach and mobilisation efforts, successfully attracting 200 young participants across two cohorts and ensuring inclusive access to the programme.
  • Facilitated structured onboarding, including parental engagement, safeguarding procedures, and digital readiness assessments.

Mid-Programme Delivery

  • Delivered experiential learning sessions that combined programming logic with creative tech tools, giving participants tangible, project-based outcomes.
  • Integrated sector insight through mentoring from professionals working in digital industries.
  • Maintained consistent participant engagement, with 80 learners actively involved in sessions, projects, and collaborative peer learning.

End of Programme Delivery

  • Guided final project completion, enabling participants to showcase their digital portfolios through presentations and live demonstrations.
  • Captured programme impact through feedback loops and progress tracking, evidencing improved digital confidence and skills development.
  • Positioned participants for progression, into further education and tech-focused career pathways.

The programme gave young people hands-on experience in digital skills like coding, animation, and game creation. Out of 200 who signed up, 110 officially joined, and 80 completed the full programme. These young learners came away with stronger digital skills, more confidence, and a clearer sense of how they could pursue further opportunities in tech.
